Momentum is key to learning and retention.  Any disruption to the course flow can take your audience out of the learning zone that you have so carefully cultivated.  Preparation will always help to mitigate surprises during training delivery, but sometimes you are faced with an unforeseen technical issue, disruptive student, conversation or question that can interrupt that precious connection.  Knowing how to manage your class when disruptions do occur is your safety net to get you quickly back on track.  If you are covering an especially complex and important section of the training, ask that all questions be held until you complete that section.  Always have your "Parking Lot" ready to catch the questions or discussions that can otherwise needlessly consume important classroom time.  Have a plan in place for any surprise technical issues.  If the network suddenly drops, do you know what to do to maintain momentum?
